Genting Oil Kasuri Pte. Ltd. (GOKPL) is an energy company and a subsidiary of the Genting Group, a leading multinational corporation headquartered in Malaysia. The Genting Group is actively expanding its presence in the energy sector, particularly in oil and gas, through Genting Oil & Gas, with operations in China and Indonesia. GOKPL operates in Teluk Bintuni and Fakfak Regencies, West Papua, Indonesia, and is currently developing the Asap, Kido, and Merah (AKM) Fields.

Under the Production Sharing Contract (PSC) arrangement with SKK Migas, GOKPL is currently seeking qualified professionals to join our team in the following positions:

1. Commissioning Supervisor as Third Party Contract

(Site – Papua Barat)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in the field in line with project plans and schedules.

• Coordinate with commissioning teams and related parties (engineering, construction, vendors) to ensure system readiness prior to testing.

• Ensure all commissioning activities comply with applicable procedures, technical standards, and HSE requirements.

• Verify system readiness, including installation checks, document completeness, and mechanical completion status.

• Oversee testing and troubleshooting activities to ensure optimal performance of systems and equipment.

• Identify and report technical issues during commissioning and coordinate follow-up actions for resolution.

• Ensure all commissioning documentation (checklists, test reports, punch lists) is properly prepared and maintained.

• Support system handover from project to operations team.

• Coordinate with HSE team to ensure safe execution of commissioning activities.

• Provide regular commissioning progress reports to management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in operation/engineering/project within an oil and gas company/contractor.

• Hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.).

• Commissioning-specific certifications (e.g., from ACG, BСxA, or vendor OEMs) are an advantage.

• Possess hands-on experience in commissioning and/or precommissioning activities for oil and gas facilities.

• Familiar with EPC/EPF project environments and overall project lifecycle.

• Strong supervisory, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and meet project timelines.

2. Construction (Pipeline) as Third Party Contract

(Site – Papua Barat)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all pipeline construction activities, including coordination of workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

• Participate in key construction meetings (HAZOP, constructability) and prepare daily reports.

• Enforce safety regulations, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with company standards.

• Communicate with stakeholders to align expectations and resolve issues or conflicts.

• Review and approve EPC contractor deliverables (technical documents and drawings).

• Resolve construction issues, ensure compliance with plans, and manage resources (labor, materials, equipment).

• Ensure overall technical alignment with plant operations, company policies, and project management systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum education of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant field.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in pipeline construction (preferably oil & gas).

• Experience in onshore and CRA pipeline installation, including work with EPCI contractors.

• Strong understanding of pipeline design, technical drawings (P&IDs, isometric), and welding procedures.

• Knowledge of pre-commissioning activities and relevant industry standards (ASME, DNV, API).

• Experience in implementing safety practices on construction sites.

• Able to work independently with strong technical capability.

3. Electrical Engineer as Third Party Contract

(Jakarta Office)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for handling & guiding EPC & EPF phase 1 execution including interface for Electrical scope of work.

• Responsible for preparing ITB AKM Project Phase 2 for Electrical scope of work.

• Responsible for being involved in AKM Project Phase 2 process tender for Electrical scope of work.

• Review and approve electrical design deliverables, including drawings, calculations, study and specifications and other deliverable documents, submitted by the Contractor, Subcontractor or Vendors to ensure they meet the project requirements.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, national, and international codes and standards, including electrical safety regulations.

• Assist in monitoring project timelines and electrical-related milestones, ensuring that the electrical work is completed on time and within budget.

• Monitor and manage any electrical issues or delays, ensuring timely resolution to avoid project delays.

• Ensure that electrical work is carried out cost-effectively without compromising quality or safety.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of work experience in electrical engineering for oil and gas projects (upstream and/or downstream), including large-scale, multi-discipline EPC projects.

• Strong understanding of electrical design, power generation and distribution, control systems, and electrical safety in the oil and gas sector.

• Familiarity with international codes (IEC, ANSI, IEEE), local regulations (SNI, PERMEN), and software (ETAP, Dialux).

• Have experience in Workshop such as HAZID, HAZOP, 3D Model, SIMOPS, Project Start-up Safety Review etc.

• Familiar with electrical study such as Load Flow, Short Circuit, Motor Starting Study, Harmonic, Transient, Load Shedding, Protection and Coordination Study, Arc Flash.

• Experience with electrical equipment, gas engine or gas turbine generator, diesel generator, substations, medium and low voltage switchgear, transformers, UPS, cathodic protection system, hazardous area classification, lighting and grounding system.
