Genting Oil Kasuri Pte. Ltd. (GOKPL) is an energy company and a subsidiary of the Genting Group, a leading multinational corporation headquartered in Malaysia. The Genting Group is actively expanding its presence in the energy sector, particularly in oil and gas, through Genting Oil & Gas, with operations in China and Indonesia. GOKPL operates in Teluk Bintuni and Fakfak Regencies, West Papua, Indonesia, and is currently developing the Asap, Kido, and Merah (AKM) Fields.
Under the Production Sharing Contract (PSC) arrangement with SKK Migas, GOKPL is currently seeking qualified professionals to join our team in the following positions:
1. Occupational Health Engineer as Third Party Contract
(Site - Papua Barat)
Responsibilities:
• Design and recommend safety programs and interventions, provide training and education to employees regarding health risks and safety practices, and deliver and promote Industrial Hygiene (IH) programs to employees and management regarding the new HSE paradigm from a health perspective.
• Develop and implement workplace environmental monitoring strategies to ensure that all K3 & IH parameters (chemical, physical, biological, ergonomic, etc.) to which employees are exposed are monitored and comply with government regulations.
• Responsible for the identification and monitoring of exposure to Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM), and ensuring that all hazardous chemicals are documented in an accurate and up-to-date inventory system, complete with readily accessible Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Collaborate with the medical team to integrate workplace environmental monitoring data with employee health surveillance programs (Medical Check-Up / MCU), and provide technical recommendations regarding fatigue management to reduce the risk of incidents caused by human factors.
• Collaborate with management to ensure regulatory compliance, and stay abreast of industry regulations and best practices related to industrial hygiene.
• Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence, prepare and maintain detailed reports on health assessments and findings, and act as an audit team member and auditee specialized in the K3 & IH scope.
• Engage qualified consultants and conduct workplace environmental assessments to identify potential health hazards, and coordinate with other safety professionals to develop comprehensive health and safety plans.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in construction operations and/or oil and gas.
• Hold at least a Diploma III or Bachelor's (S1) degree in Public Health, Nursing, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety (K3), or Chemistry.
• Knowledge of industrial hygiene principles and practices, as well as proficiency in using industrial hygiene monitoring equipment.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards, including experience with OSHA regulations and industry standards.
• Ensuring the proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE), including quality verification, authenticity, and correct usage procedures.
• Experience in conducting ergonomic assessments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Hold the following certifications General AK3 (Kemnaker RI), AK3 Migas (ESDM), Hiperkes & Occupational Health (Kemnaker RI Certification), Industrial Hygiene (Industrial Hygiene Expert – Kemnaker RI), NEBOSH IGC, Occupational Health/Industrial Hygiene Training (NIOSH), and Certified Industrial Hygienist.
• Awareness and understanding of ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001 implementation concepts.
• Possess waste management awareness and basic knowledge of the principles, policies, and emergency procedures for Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) applicable to oil and gas operations.
2. QA/QC Supervisor as Third Party Contract
(Site - Papua Barat)
Responsibilities:
• Ensure all project activities comply with the Quality Plan, ITP, and technical specifications, and verify that materials, equipment, and work methods meet standards.
• Conduct inspections and tests on materials, welding, pipes, electrical equipment, and mechanics per Oil & Gas standards.
• Coordinate with TPI, vendors, contractors, and engineering teams for inspections and testing, including NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT).
• Coordinate with the commissioning team during pre-commissioning and commissioning to ensure system functions per design.
• Review and maintain Quality Records, MTR, WPS, PQR, and other certifications.
• Manage NCRs and ensure corrective actions are carried out per procedures.
• Create daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports and provide improvement recommendations.
• Conduct internal and external audits for compliance with ISO 9001, API, ASME, and MIGAS, and coordinate with HSE on safety and environmental aspects.
• Identify quality system improvements and provide QA/QC training to workers and contractors.
Qualifications:
• Minimum education of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as QA/QC Supervisor in Oil and Gas Projects.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Certified Welding Inspector to a recognized certification scheme (B4T, CSWIP, PCN, or equivalent).
• Having NDT Level 2 qualification and certificate (RT & MPI/DPI) is preferred.
• Having Lead Auditor ISO 9001:2015 certification is preferred.
3. QC Inspector (Electrical, Instrument, & Telecom) as Third Party Contract
(Site -Papua Barat)
Responsibilities:
• Ensure electrical installation (panels, cables, transformers, motors, generators, grounding, lightning protection) complies with IEC, NEC, IEEE, and verify cable size/type match load calculations and tray/conduit standards.
• Inspect electrical protection systems (circuit breakers, protection relays, isolation systems).
• Check instrumentation installation (sensors, transmitters, flowmeters, control valves, instrument cables, junction boxes, marshalling cabinets, DCS) per ISA/IEC standards.
• Supervise instrument calibration and ensure control system interface with field equipment works properly.
• Ensure telecom installation (radio, fiber optic, CCTV, PAGA, data networks) including cable termination, connectivity testing, and compatibility with control/security systems.
• Supervise testing (Megger, continuity, grounding, hipot, loop check, FAT, SAT) for electrical, instrument, and telecom equipment.
• Check system function and communication including PLC/DCS interface.
• Create daily inspection reports and NCRs.
• Coordinate with E&I engineers and commissioning teams, attend technical meetings, and provide input on field obstacles.
• Ensure all work complies with safety procedures (LOTO, PPE), environmental regulations, and electrical safety standards.
Qualifications:
• Minimum education of Diploma (D-3) in Engineering or Science, preferably in Electrical, Electronic, Engineering Physics, or Instrumentation.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in inspection and testing associated with oil and gas construction and installation projects.
• Shall have CompEx / IECEx Competency Certificate.
• Good written and spoken English communication skill.
• Familiar with Instrument code standards (ANSI/ISA, API, IEEE, ISO/IEC, ICEA, UL, NFPA/NEC, PUIL, MIGAS, SNI).
• Have experience in inspection and testing of all types of electrical equipment including HV/LV switchgear, drives, power and generation protection, MV distribution and fire & gas protection/detection systems, Instrumentation and Telecommunication equipment including Field Instrumentation and Control systems (PLC, DCS, CCTV, PAGA, etc.).
4. QC Inspector (Mechanical & Piping) as Third Party Contract
(Site - Papua Barat)
Responsibilities:
• Inspect static equipment (tanks, vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, columns, steel structures) and piping (pipe, fittings, flanges) per ASME/API/TEMA, including fabrication, installation, hydrotest, NDT (RT, UT, MT, PT), welding compliance (WPS/PQR), corrosion protection (coating, lining, cathodic), and verify material certificates (MTC) for pipe, fitting, flange materials.
• Inspect rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, gearboxes, motors) per API 610/617/619, including balance, alignment, vibration, lubrication, commissioning, and performance testing.
• Supervise pressure tests (hydrostatic/pneumatic), vibration analysis, and NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT), including inspections before/during/after welding to ensure pipe joint quality.
• Prepare inspection reports, test results, defect reports, repair recommendations, and ensure all certification documentation is maintained.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineer, piping engineer, welding inspector, and QC for repairs/inspections, and attend meetings to discuss work status and technical constraints.
• Ensure all mechanical and piping work meets safety standards, environmental regulations, PPE use, and safety procedures compliance.
Qualifications:
• Minimum education of Diploma (D-3) degree in engineering, preferably in Metallurgical / Material Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in piping welding, piping inspection and testing associated with oil and gas projects.
• Having qualifications and certificate for NDT Level 2 (RT & MPI/DPI).
• Preferably experience with various types of exotic materials, such as low alloy steel, austenitic, Nickel alloy, and duplex stainless steel.
• Good written and spoken English communication skill.
• Familiar with codes, standards, and specifications related to piping equipment. and welding (ASME, API, ASTM, etc.).
• Have extensive knowledge of welding inspection procedures and techniques including visual inspection, Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiography Test (RT), and Ultrasonic Test (UT) in oil and gas environment.
• Qualified Welding Inspector to a recognized Certification Scheme (B4T, CSWIP, PCN or equivalent).
