1. POSITION  : Piping Layout Engineer (4 Position)

Department/Project : Offshore Engineering (Piping)

Education  : University Graduate on Technical Major

Seniority  : Expert Engineer

Working Experiences : More than 5 years in similar position or similar field

Working Status : Temporary / Contract (6 months-possibility to extend)

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

1. Diploma or equivalent technical vocational degree in appropriate engineering subject

2. Knowledge of Piping and Layout engineering design criteria, methods, and workflows from conceptual phase up to site engineering phase.

3. Knowledge of main international Discipline standards, codes, and regulations.

4. Capability to define the technical documents set based on Project quantities and scope of work.

5. Capability to perform and coordinate Project engineering documents production activities and to check and review design documents, prepared either internally or by Vendors.

6. Knowledge of tools related to 2D and 3D modelling activities specifically AutoCAD and S3D experienced users.

7. Capability to design and coordinate P&IDs for related systems. Full knowledge of Piping – Process engineering workflow and of P&ID mechanization procedures and criteria.

8. Full knowledge of P&IDs mechanization battery limits.

9. Knowledge of basic principles of stress analysis design criteria regarding typical load conditions, stress calculations, comparison criteria with admissible values, Capability to perform calculation relevant to expansion/stress analysis in order to allow flexibility and piping support location.

10. Basic knowledge and capability to develop plant layout and equipment layout according to process requirements defined on PFD or P&ID and in accordance to the engineering good practices: developing the single line structure to lay the piping distribution and the equipment elevation. Knowledge of plant layout optimization

11. Knowledge of Piping/Electrical/Instrumental/structural basic terminology and rules.

12. Specific knowledge of drafting drawing techniques.

Working Status  : Temporary / Contract (12 months-possibility to extend)

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

1. Diploma or equivalent technical vocational degree in appropriate engineering subject

2. Knowledge of Piping and Layout engineering design criteria, methods, and workflows from conceptual phase up to site engineering phase.

7. Capability to monitor the relevant activity progress and the actual manhours spent vs the earned progress.

8. Contribute to Project reporting for the relevant engineering part

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1. Design, execute or check the typical Piping and Layout studies including:

• 3D Modelling using SmartPlant®3D / S3D

• 3D Model review with other disciplines and issue of clash check report

• Construction or design drawings using 2D software or extracted from 3D for piping networks (overall plot plan, equipment layout drawings, piping general arrangement, piping isometrics and piping supports)

• Bill of materials or material take off

• Extraction of bill of materials and other information from the 3D CAD model

2. Ensure the achievement of assigned goals and the fulfilment of project quality requirements and contractual obligations.

3. Analyze technical documents (e.g. specifications, calculation notes, drawings) to assess the scope of the studies required and the potential risks.

4. Seek solutions which can bring overall savings to the project.

5. Co-ordinate the work of his team with the Piping and Layout engineers of the project

6. Check the input data and all the documents and information issued by project

7. Check permanently that all the assumptions upon which his teamwork is based keep up with the project development and warn the project Piping and Layout Lead of any detected anomaly

8. Documents updating after comments issued by other disciplines (inter-discipline checks) or external stakeholders (Client, Yards, Third party review, etc.)

9. Feed the Piping and Layout Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the project

3. POSITION  : Lospe Engineer / Technical Safety Junior/Expert Engineer (3 Position)

Department/Project : Offshore Engineering (LOSPE)/NFPS EPCO Project

Education  : University Graduate on Technical Major

Working Experiences : Min. 3 years in similar position or similar field

Working Status  : Temporary / Contract (12 months)

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

1. Personal skills

1.1. For junior engineer, fresh graduate in Chemical Engineering or has one year experience in LOSPE / Technical Safety group, and has an interest in LOSPE / Technical Safety project activities,

1.2. For expert engineer, has experience on development of LOSPE /Technical Safety document and activities both for project bid and project execution with major international Oil&Gas Companies.

2. Technical & professional skill/knowledge (for expert engineer)

2.1. Has capability to develop some of the following technical documents and activities under LOSPE / Technical Safety based on project scope:

• Risk assessment and safety studies e.g. QRA, FERA, EERA, ESSA, DOS, NHRA, RAM study, participation on HAZID/HAZOP/SIL/3D model review workshops,

• Firefighting system including active and passive fire protection philosophy, FW system PID design, FW and foam system hydraulic calculation, specification and data sheet for firefighting equipment and firefighting equipment layout,

• General safety design e.g. HAC, F&G detector system (F&G detector philosophy, F&G layout, F&G detector mapping, F&G cause and effect matrix, SIL verification), safety equipment specification/data sheet and layout, gas dispersion and heat radiation study,

Seniority  : Senior Designer / Drafter

Working Experiences : More than 5 years in similar position or similar field

REQUIRED WORKING SKILLS/QUALIFICATION/SERTIFICATION

1. Personal skills

• Has experiences on drafting all LOSPE / Technical Safety drawing; FW system PIDs; HAC layout; Safety, firefighting equipment, and escape route layout; PFP layout; F&G detector layout

2. Technical & professional skill/knowledge

• Strong knowledge and operate following software CAD, SPPID, SP3D, PDMS.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS
