We are seeking experienced people for the following positions:

Supervisor Mechanic (926723)

(Sangatta)

In this role you will:

• Responsible for the health and safety of employees and self through education, training and demonstration of the right behaviours.

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the business through proactive management of the employees, procedures and processes.

• Ensure Thiess HSE&Q standards including TSE (Thiess Safety Essential) are incorporated into the workplace.

• Comply with all applicable health, safety and environmental laws, regulations and statutory obligations at all times

• Report on problems or areas for improvement

• Actively support and encourage the JO program

• Ensure all disciplinary actions are issued as required in accordance with the Sangatta mine regulations and maintenance departments’ rules.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Applicants should have minimum Senior High School, Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Trade Specialist is preferred; Requires a minimum 5 years' professional experience in similar role as Supervisor Mechanic with relevant qualification in Mechanical HE Repair and Maintenance Supervision in the mining industry, planning of daily shut down schedule and breakdown repair;

• 3 years’ experience in mechanical repair and supervision in the mining industry. Planning of mechanical repair.

• Good leadership and people management skills preferably with training in staff supervision; have ability in resource planning and OHS&E supervision; logical thinking; excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both oral and written in English; be able to operate computer; conflict resolution; sound decision making skills; Posses POP and (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) certification at Mine and Energy Department; be able to work on shift roster (day and night shift).

Senior Supervisor Mechanic (926724)

(Sangatta)

In this role you will:

• To ensure that the Maintenance Department goals are achieved MA>90 %, MTBS>60 hours Zero LTI, by following the procedures which are set up in Company Management System.

• Communication and reporting. Ensure maximum communication levels are maintained between workshop and operations personnel regarding breakdowns safety issues, and prioritizing of equipment repairs.

• Ensure to accurate the completion of daily breakdown report for reviewing by the Senior Supervisor before end of shift every day.

• Analysis of component condition and recommendation of parts required. Ensure that the correct procedures are used when breakdowns and failures troubleshooting.

• Ensure all WOs open status have been compared with current break down equipment to make sure all WOs are controlled and closed if the job has been done.

• Review DOOD (Daily Outstanding Operator Defect), SOS report, mechanical inspection are analysed and reviewed and also ensure it is submitted in daily complete with the part recommendation. Ensure the mechanic raises the list of part recommended accurately to address all backlog, breakdowns and planned maintenance.

• Ensure all break down machine are reported in OCDC, and all information repair description, coding, start and finish have been filled in OCDC correctly.

• Prepare parts equipment and manpower for planned work and shutdown days, ensure all repairs are carried out in an effective cost and timely manner.

• Investigation and reporting of all accident damage to all equipment in the field and associated area, this is included with the operator abuse.

• Make a safe working environment for all employees by ensuring all activities are carry out according to the work procedures in the Company Management System, JSEAs are relevant and all hazards are controlled.

• Ensure that there is no impact for the environment from the activities that are carried out to operate and repair equipment by ensuring that the procedures in the Company Management System are followed.

• Ensure that all maintenance tasks are carried out in a safe and make sure subordinate understand of our objectives and Thiess policies, and address all safety information to crew.

• Ensure all the disciplinary actions are issued as required in accordance with the Sangatta Mine Regulations.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Minimum Senior High School, Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Trade Specialist is preferred; requires a minimum 8 years' professional experience in similar role as Senior Supervisor Mechanic with relevant qualification in Mechanical & Auto Electrical HE Repair and Plant Supervision in mining industry, planning of daily shut down schedule and breakdown repair; mechanical & auto electrical repair experience in experience in Big Digger unit : Liebherr, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi ; handling diagnostic skill in all aspects of electrical repairs;

• Repair and maintain medium and heavy duty equipment

• Have a certain capacity of communication with supervisor and mechanic

Deputy Manager Mining (926725)

(Sangatta)

Persyaratan :

• Assist Mining Manager to co-ordinate all mining superintendent and All supervisors in the workplace of the removal of overburden/inter burden in a safe, effective manner on time and within budget in a designated area

• Ensure the selection of projects that match objectives of Business Plan by ensuring risks in tender and contract conditions are recognised and accounted for.

• Plan, direct, monitor and reconcile the technical aspect of the mining operations  including daily, short to long term (annual) plans, operational performance, blast design and sequencing, rehabilitation, drainage and road design, to assist in achieving agreed coal production targets.

• Familiar with the current Mine Plan and future deployment of equipment within area of responsibility.

• Check daily production figures and use them to address the problem areas.

• Minimize coal losses and dilution when removing inter burden to maximize the reverse

• Ensure ROM areas are maintained with good drainage and minimize contamination during loading.

• Analyse and review the system, procedures and equipment utilised within the mine and recommend improvements to enhance coal production.

• Maintain team performance.

• Provide regular feedback and mentor the growth and development of direct reports.

• Involve in annual assessment process and proactively seek for development plans.

• Ensure development plan is available for team members so that they keep up with required skills & competencies for current and future roles.

• Builds coaching and mentoring process to sped development of future leaders.

• Monitors team or area performance and keeps people informed of progress to ensure delivery against objectives.

• Identify the views of other business areas or teams to ensure a broad perspective is gained.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Graduate from Tertiary Degree in Mine Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum of 7 years previous experience in a similar role experience in large open cut mining operation of which at least one or two years in production/service supervision/ management role.

• Comprehensive knowledge in mining equipments.

• Has certified in “Madya” Certification.

EOI Superintendent Plant – Big DIgger (926726)

(GBU)

In this role you will:

• To ensure that the Maintenance Department goals are achieved MA>90 %, MTBS>60 hours Zero LTI, by following the procedures which are set up in TMS.

• Communication and reporting. Ensure maximum communication levels are maintained between workshop and operations personnel regarding breakdowns safety issues and prioritizing of the equipment repairs.

• Ensure that all Supervisors to complete accurately the daily breakdown report, Supervisor Shift report, mechanical inspection complete with the part required to address all known work, breakdown and planned Maintenance are submitted to Planning and Admin every day. Ensure that all Supervisors complete the accurate breakdown hours and repair information.

• Ensure that daily maintenance schedule and refuelling are carried out in safe and monitored.

• Analysis of component condition and recommendation of parts required. Ensure that the correct procedures are used when breakdowns and failures troubleshooting.

• Planning and Coordination of shutdown work in cooperation with Planning Department. Ensure all repairs are carried out in and effective cost and timely manner.

• Investigation and reporting of all incidents damaged to all equipment in the field and associated area, this is included for the operator abuse.

• Ensure a safe working environment for all employees by ensuring all activities are carried out according to the work procedures in the TMS and GBU Project Management Plan.

• Ensure that there is no impact for the environment from the activities that are carried out to operate and repair equipment by ensuring the procedures in the TMS and GBU Management Plan are in place.

What skills and experience do you need?

• Have minimum Trade Qualifications or Maintenance / Engineering qualification with minimum 10 years trade experience in mining/heavy equipment; Staff Management;

• Holding POP or POM certification

• Understanding the heavy plant business; People handling skill; diagnostic skills in all aspects of mechanical repairs;

• Mechanic experience on Thiess equipment e.g.  Cat, Komatsu, Liebherr, Coal hauling and lifting equipment;

• IT Literacy

• Analysis of component condition and recommendation of parts required. Ensure that the correct procedures are used when breakdowns and failures troubleshooting.

• Ensure all WOs open status have been compared with current break down equipment to make sure all WOs are controlled and closed if the job has been done.

• Ensure that all maintenance tasks are carried out in a safe and make sure subordinate understand of our objectives and Thiess policies, and address all safety information to crew.

• Ensure all the disciplinary actions are issued as required in accordance with the GBU Mine Regulations.

• Lead by sample.

• Conduct counselling where required as per SMP procedures

• Minimum Senior High School / Technical High School

• 6 Year experience in mechanical repair and supervisor in the mining industry. Planning of mechanical repair.

• People handling skill diagnostic skills in all aspects of electrical and mechanical repairs.

• First aid, Incident Investigation.

• Repair and maintain medium and heavy duty equipment.

Manager Plant Site (926728)

(Balikpapan)

In this role you will:

• To assist TCI Plant to achieve agreed Business units target and objective through effective management of all Plant Operational activities in Balikpapan Project

• To lead and manage the BSF Operations team, and to recruit, train, develop and lead quality Staff who have the responsibility to deliver the services

• Manage the BSF and Kariangau sites, providing high quality and valued facilities and support to all Staff and employees on site, and deliver agreed annual objectives within agreed budget
