Position : Sales/BD/Account Manager
Applus is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development / Sales / Account Manager to lead strategic growth efforts and manage key client accounts in the Cilegon industrial region, with a specific focus on Petrochemical Industries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, strengthening existing client relationships, and ensuring high service satisfaction in alignment with Applus quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales
• Undertake research and target companies and markets.
• Establish productive and professional relationships with customer key personnel, understand customer requirements and provide sales support
• Prepare tender bids/quotation
• Prepare contract and negotiations as required
• Coordinate with global network to provide services or to meet client request.
Technical and Project
• Liaise with Head of Inspection on related technical and assist on work scope issues.
• Prepare and deliver presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
• Oversee for all stages of project from sending quotation and responsible up until payment is received by Applus for the project.
• Confer with customers and coordinate with Head of Inspection for Indonesia to assess equipment/other resources needs and to determine appropriate service requirements.
• Support other required Technical Service Dept activities and providing income returns
Management
• Assist Direct Manager to monitor and maintain departmental P&L and GP
• Visited costumer and details of potential projects with estimated value and pipelines
• Provide feedback to Head of Inspection in relation to opportunities identification, network engagement, and financial updates
• Manages the opportunities to be converted as many as possible for the orders / contracts
• Working for Direct Manager in undertaking Technical Service objectives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Master's degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the industrial services, inspection, or oil & gas sectors.
• Proven track record in managing large industrial clients (preferably petrochemical or energy sectors).
• Strong knowledge of local market dynamics in Cilegon and surrounding industrial zones.
• Familiarity with NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), Asset Integrity, or similar technical services is highly preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and proficient in English.
