Position : Inspection & NDT Branch Manager

Applus is currently seeking for a qualified Inspection & NDT Branch Manager based in Jakarta, Cilegon and Batam.

This role responsible for providing technical expertise, support, identifying opportunities in Jakarta, Cilegon or Batam and served Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) department in all activities assigned. This will require technical expertise, sales, document control, reporting, and management support in the TS Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage/Monitor Project P&L to ensure within the approved budget

• Provides technical aspect for supporting Inspection Services & Certification function in the country while look for opportunities to various clients covering TIC service including Sales.

• Look for opportunities especially from Cilegon, Banten clients related with Applus services (TIC business).

• Manage technical queries/clarifications from clients to be coherent with the client’s perspective.

• Ensuring the correct elevation of issues from 1st line and be responsible for implementing and managing in-depth pre-release Company service procedures to engage with TS dept and certification, including product certification and compliance.

• Define, implement, and manage technical support processes and procedures for Inspection & NDT Services

• Produce regular management reports on technical development and queries/clarifications

• Manage on-site support services as required by Operation during project execution stage

• Manage the process of communicating technical aspect of Applus services to customers

• Provide advice related with contracts and negotiate revisions if required, changes and additional to contractual agreements with consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

• Plan and modify services to meet customer needs.

• Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers to support sales

• Present clear technical scope and deliver all relevant technical information at project kick off meeting.

• Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment / other resources needs and to determine appropriate service requirements.

• Act as the main point of contact for the client for all technical issues related to the project including personnel qualifications, equipment specifications, and other technical requirements.

• Oversee site projects and liaise with supervisors regarding client technical queries/concerns.

• Review tender/quotation/purchasing for further approval of Direct Manager

Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in any Engineering/ Management Discipline

• Minimum of 7 + years’ experience in Oil & Gas Industry

• Minimum of 5 + year’s managerial or operations management experience with technical knowledge and understanding on API, ISO 9712, ASNT SNT-TC-1A, IRATA, Vendor Surveillance & Third-Party Inspection

• Preferred experience in Inspection for Oil & Gas Industry

• Preferred domicile at Cilegon, Banten - Indonesia

• External training Inspection/NDT related qualification
