Job Vacancies in the Oil & Gas Industry

MontD’Or Petroleum, the Operator of the producing Mengoepeh, Pematang Lantih, Salawati fields in Indonesia, is currently recruiting dynamic, qualified and self-motivated personnel to be part of its team based in S.E. Asia. MontD’Or will be doing Drilling Project and has the following vacancies for 3 positions below:

Earthwork Supervisor

Role and responsibilities:

• Supervise construction and maintenance of drilling well pad locations and access road

• Oversee civil work activities such as earthworks, excavation, piling work, cellar work, pavement.

• Supervise and direct heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, compactors, graders, etc. as per work plan and program.

• Monitor progress and inspect daily construction activities to ensure quality and efficient operations and compliance with contract specifications plans

• Instruct crew on activities and follow up to ensure compliance

• Handle and manage site inspection, planning, project schedule and on-site progress

• Inspect and monitor material inventory and movement

• Conduct Pre-Construction Meeting and periodic Coordination Meeting with contractor and sub-contractors

• Exercise, direct, and ensure a safe work environment in the work area at all times

• Prepare daily and weekly report on construction progress including other routine reports as required by Company

Requirements:

Degree:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with 10 years of experience in civil construction activities or

• Diploma III (D3) with 15 years of experience

Specification:

• The position is on contract basis for three (3) months and will be based in Company’s Field Office in Tebo Regency, Jambi

• Demonstrated experience as a construction or earthwork supervisor with minimum of 3 years of experience in civil construction project

• Understand and able to read earthwork project drawings

• Understand land clearing, cut and fill and civil work techniques in the earthwork area

• Having experience with oilfield wellsite and access road preparation will be advantageous

• Work flexible hours to accommodate job requirements

• Highly motivated, initiative, strong personality, capable of working with limited resources within tight time constraints

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Experiences:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction activities

• Minimum 3 years as construction or earthwork supervisor

Field Civil Engineer

Role and responsibilities:

• Oversee and monitor construction of drilling well pad locations and access road

• Monitor and anticipate potential risks that may arise during construction and ensure proper control and mitigation are in place and accountable.

• Execute and evaluate all aspects of wellsite and access preparation with adherence to best practices and quality assurance

• Review and ensure the construction work aligns with approved site design

• Perform project coordination with all parties involved

• Handle and manage site inspection, planning, project schedule and on-site progress

• Conduct Pre-Construction Meeting and periodic Coordination Meeting with contractor and sub-contractors

• Inspect and monitor material inventory and movement

• Prepare daily and weekly report on construction progress including other routine reports as required by Company

Requirements:

Senior Drilling Engineer

Role and responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drilling and completion program for safe and efficient operations for both development and exploration wells in accordance with standards and procedures set forth by Company, HSE, industry, and government

• Perform well planning, well design, and drilling engineering analysis such as casing design, well trajectory, hydraulics, cementing, drilling fluid design, torque and drag, completion plan

• Works closely with the respective asset teams to provide well programs and all associated aspects of drilling technical support.

• Prepare Authorization for Expenditures (AFE) and technical drilling proposal

• Monitor drilling and completion operation and prepare routine drilling reports

• Provide technical expertise and support on drilling, completion, and workover operations at the office and rig site

• Review Daily Drilling Report to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data

• Review and discuss Daily Lookahead with Drilling Supervisor to ensure personnel, equipment, material and services will be available on schedule and aligned with operation

• Coordinate and carry out the Drill Well On Paper (DWOP) exercise and Pre-Spud activities

• Prepare end of well report, close-out report, and lesson-learned document post-drilling operation

Requirements:

Degree:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering or

• Relevant Engineering background

Specification:

• The position is on contract basis for six (6) months and will be based in Jakarta

• Experience in comprehensive well planning for both onshore exploration and development drilling (location preparation, logistic plan, well design, drilling operation, completion, DST)

• Experience in preparing and presenting technical drilling proposal and AFE to SKK Migas

• Excellent understanding of WP&B and AFE process, tendering process (PTK-007), operational standard (SNI), HSE regulations, and oil and gas industry in general

• Proficient in written and spoken English

• Excellent communication skills, strong team player, open and transparent communicator across multi-discipline teams.

• Highly motivated, initiative, strong personality, capable of working independently with limited resources within tight time constraints

• Proficient in drilling engineering software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Experiences:

• Minimum 15 years of oilfield experience in drilling engineering and drilling operation
