A. Job Information

Job Title: Deputy Project Manager (Third Party Contract)

Department: Project and Development

Direct Report to: Project and Development Manager

Direct Subordinate: EPF PMT Team

Indirect Subordinate: -

B. Job Summary

Required for supporting the Project Manager (PM) in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities to ensure delivery on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role acts as second-in-command and takes full responsibility during the PM’s absence.

C. Responsibility

A. Project Planning & Coordination

• Assist in the development of the Project Execution Plan (PEP), schedule, and budget.

• Coordinate project kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and technical discussions.

• Ensure all project deliverables, milestones, and dependencies are well-tracked and communicated.

B. Project Execution

• Monitor daily project progress—engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning.

• Identify risks and issues; propose mitigation plans immediately.

• Coordinate with internal departments (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, QA/QC, HSE, Project Control,, Finance, Operations) and external stakeholders (vendors, contractors, authorities).

• Follow up on Work Orders, purchase orders, approvals, permits, and regulatory requirements.

C. Cost, Schedule & Reporting

• Review progress reports, cost reports, and schedule updates.

• Support PM in ensuring the project stays within approved cost and timeline.

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and stakeholders.

• Ensure variation orders, changes, and claims are properly managed and documented.

• In line project schedule with Company requirement.

D. Quality & HSE Compliance

• Ensure all activities comply with HSE policies, industry standards, and project specifications.

• Coordinate quality inspections, audits, and corrective actions.

• Promote a strong safety culture among the project team and contractors.

E. Stakeholder & Contractor Management

• Maintain effective communication with vendors, contractors, government entities, and Genting Management & Headquarter.

• Support PM in negotiations, contract performance reviews, and dispute resolution.

• Ensure contractor performance meets agreed KPIs and timelines.

• Prepare and manage project reporting to government office e.g SKK MIGAS, MIGAS, ESDM, etc Genting Oil Kasuri Pte. Ltd.

• Prepare and manage project interface reporting from and to downstream Company

F. Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise project team members and ensure clear task delegation.

• Provide guidance, problem-solving assistance, and support for team members.

• Act on behalf of the Project Manager during absence or delegation

External: SKKMigas, Local Stakeholders

E. Job Specification

Experience: 20 years

Qualification:

• Minimum experience ten (10) years of experience as Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager in EPC onshore oil and gas facilities project, with minimum project contract value USD 25 million. (rental contract is advantages)

• Capability and broad knowledge in managing onshore oil and gas projects

• Have experience handled EPC project in the remote area is advantages

• Extensive experience and proven ability in working with contractors and clients.

• Excellent written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English language communications skills.

• Strong understanding of project planning, cost control, procurement, and construction/operations.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Familiar with project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) and reporting systems is advantages

• Good knowledge of safety standards and project regulations.
