We are looking for qualified personnel with high motivation, initiative, and integrity to fill the following position:

 

COMPLETION ENGINEER

Purpose:

• Responsible for developing optimized completion designs in hydrocarbon wells, in particular development and workover wells in deep water environment, incorporating the most appropriate technologies and construction methods

• To secure well integrity and barriers in place

• To draft completion operations plan and support its execution by providing engineering advise and updating, when necessary, well design and execution plans

General Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• In charge to prepare well completion programme and optimize the design from technology standpoint, capable to exploit the production rate requested by Reservoir to maintaining well integrity and well barriers in place

• Prepare completion programs including all information as specified in Company procedure and applying engineering best practices

• Prepare cost breakdown estimation and AFE of wells completion

• Support the projects approval process internally by the Company and/or with Stakeholders and Local Authorities

• Recommend any changes in some aspects of completion/work-over program (if necessary) to improve drilling and completion methods, techniques, and speed

• Propose or make any recommendations to solve completion operational problems

• Track and benchmark the completion performance and cost

• Follow up of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and AAR (After Action Review)

• Prepare post well reports

• Operations follow up on daily basis and assist rig site operations

• Support in preparation of tender documents and technical evaluations of proposal

• Conduct meetings and discussions with Stakeholders (other Departments within Company & Partners), and Local Authorities

Qualifications & Experiences:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering

- Professional Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of working experience in Completion Engineer

- Training & Courses:

• Basic Oil & Gas industry knowledge

• Drilling & Completion courses

• Completion Design and Engineering courses

• BOSIET OPITO and/or Sea Survival

• IWCF Level 4 or IADC WellSharp for Supervisors

• Geology and Geophysics basic courses (preferred)

• Subsurface and Reservoir basic courses (preferred)

• Hazardous waste management, first aider, fire fighting

- Language: Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia

Required Competencies:

Technical Competencies:

- Well Operation Activities: Completion and Workover, DST & Well Testing, Sand Control, Coil Tubing, Perforating, WBCO, Slickline, E-Line / Well Intervention

- Equipment Knowledge: Smart Completion, Lower Completion Systems (CHGP/CHFP/OHGP), Stimulation and Fluids Design & Eng.

- Subsea Equipment basic knowledge: X-Mass Tree (Horizontal type), Subsea Landing String

- Software Knowledge: Tubing Stress Analysis and Packer Element Envelope
