Position Title: Drilling Superintendent
Reports to: Drilling Manager
Status: Temporary / Contract (by Project)

JOB ROLES :
• Develop well design for drilling and completion program.
• Establish a comprehensive roadmap for drilling and completion program.
• Monitor and support procurement process.
• Execute technical negotiation and technical evaluation in the tender process for the services and equipment related to drilling operation, especially for Jack Up Rig
• Closely communicate with drilling contractor to prepare for drilling operation.
• Assist Subsea Well Testing Engineer/Supervisor on procedure and operation of TCP DST.
• Develop and/or review drilling and well testing program including Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Researching Indonesian market status, especially on drilling rigs for upcoming drilling activities, by communicating with other PSCs.
• Ensuring all work, procedures and processes are conducted in a safe manner and in accordance with COMPANY SHE requirements.
• Coordinates and supervises the activities of Operations Drilling Engineers, Drilling Supervisor(s) (DSV’s), Well Testing Engineer/Supervisor with regard to the drilling and well testing of exploration wells.
• Consults on, reviews, critiques and approves well cost estimates and drilling plans prepared by the drilling engineers.
• Ensures optimum operational, financial, safety and environmental goals and objectives have been established for projects.
• Perform verification on rig support inspection and perform rig contract management on technical and cost management aspects
• Supports the Drilling Department by sharing experiences on past results achieved and lessons learned with drilling team to ensure improved overall department performance.
• Is an active participant in well design reviews and risk assessments.
• Provides for the development of direct reports (DSV’s) by means of performance appraisals and personal development plans as well as mentoring.
• Coordinate with logistic coordinator and team to ensure smooth equipment movement to support drilling operation in timely manner
• Assist in determining project assignments for direct reports.
• Manage emergency situation and other operational drilling activities.
• Reviews and approves rig inspection, incident investigation and safety meeting reports submitted by direct reports. Ensures communication and follow-up on deficiencies/remedial actions are conducted as per the action plan.
• Conducts and/or leads incident investigations when appropriate.
• Ensures field work is performed in compliance with all applicable regulations and Company policies.
• Communicates with partners and senior management as needed.
• Reviews and evaluates direct reports.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum requirement of Drilling Specialist:
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering.
• Knowledge and Experience of:
(i) More than fifteen (15) years of drilling and completion operations.
(ii) More than five (5) years of working experience in Indonesia with extensive expertise in procurement procedures. – Be familiar with Indonesian regulation.
(iii) More than five (5) years of working experience as a senior drilling engineer or higher position.
(iv) Offshore drilling both for appraisal well using mudline hanger system and development well.
• Have a minimum of five (5) years experience in implementing Jack-up Rig Operations and well testing
• Have a minimum of ten (10) years in drilling with high performance water based mud (HPWBM)
• Familiar drilling with LWD equipment
• Having experience in directional drilling utilizing directional tool such as mud motor steerable and rotary steerable system (power drive)
• Having valid certificate for: Well Control (IWCF or IADC), HUET and Sea Survival
• Others: skills and experience of offshore drilling operations using MLHS system.
• Age limit: 65 years old
Position Title: Day Drilling Supervisor
Reports to: COMPANY’s Drilling Superintendent and/or Drilling Manager
Status: Temporary / Contract (by Project)
Division / Department: Drilling / Engineering & Planning
JOB ROLES :
• With Night Drilling Supervisor to prepare drilling operation from the previous Client’s last Well Location to the Well Location.
• To supervise drilling operations on the rig at morning and afternoon and ensure the implementation of drilling activities in accordance with COMPANY approved drilling program.
• To ensure all operational procedures comply with the drilling program and regulatory guidelines (including but not limited to COMPANY and SKK MIGAS).
• To monitor documents and reports for all MODU operations affecting the well.
• To establish operational practices for the safety and technical acceptability with current industrial standard
• To interpret drilling/testing programs and provide technical advice and assistance to Night Drilling Supervisor.
• To keep track and supervise of COMPANY equipment on board the Drilling Unit.
• To provide daily estimated Well costs for the drilling operation.
• To manage and effectively plan day to day drilling.
• To ensure an adequate inventory of equipment and materials is maintained on board the Drilling Unit to carry out the work.
• To report to COMPANY’s Drilling Superintendent and/or Drilling Manager in Jakarta on the ongoing safety, well operations and the Drilling Unit activities, including providing feedback and operations improvement opportunities, as appropriate.
• Prepare drilling instruction for all well activities and submit them to the Night Drilling Supervisor.
• To ensure compliance with all of COMPANY’s HSE policies, management standards and expectations.
• To ensure compliance with all of COMPANY’s well construction management systems requirements.
• With Night Drilling Supervisor complete all routine drilling reports including daily drilling report and required non routine reports
• Implement proper operational practices for safety and technical acceptance with technical staff
• Interpret drilling / testing and provide technical advices and assistance for Night Drilling Supervisor
• Effectively manage and plan daily SHE performance, drilling operations, logistical movements.
QUALIFICATIONS :
• Being Indonesian Nationality
• Having minimum fifteen (15) years experience particularly in Indonesia for offshore drilling operations which include a minimum lima (5) years experience as Day or Night Drilling Supervisor on offshore drilling operation and minimum five (5) well experiences in offshore exploration well operations.
• Having Day or Night Drilling Supervisor experience in offshore drilling operation utilizing jackup rig with a minimum of three (3) wells experience.
• Being in good physical condition.
• Being able to write and speak English fluently (minimum TOEFL 450).
• Having a good working knowledge and experience in TCP-DST and well testing operations.
• Having experience in directional drilling utilizing directional tools such as mud motor, steerable and rotary steerable system (power drive).
• Familiar drilling with LWD equipment.
• Having experience in performing drilling utilizing high performance water based mud (HPWBM)
• Having valid certificate for: Well Control (IWCF or IADC), HUET and Sea Survival

Position Title: Well Site Geologist
Reports to: JKT Operation Geologist and Exploration Manager
Status: Temporary / Contract (by Project)
Division / Department: Exploration
JOB ROLES :
• Geological aspects during drilling activities, including but not limited to:
- Description of cutting and core sample lithology.
- Determination of the actual top depth of each formation marker.
- Conduct supervision, quality control (QC) and operational evaluation as well as data acquisition results for Mudlogging, Measurement While Drilling (MWD), Logging While Drilling (LWD), and Wireline Logging.
- Identify potential reservoirs and the presence of hydrocarbons.
- Evaluate and identify formation pressures during drilling.
- Evaluate and identify potential drilling hazards from the aspect of rock formations or geological conditions.
- Determine, identify, and evaluate the depth position of cutting samples, conventional core, sidewall core, pressure test, and other data.
• Operational aspects before/during/after drilling activities related to geological data, including but not limited to:
- Conduct inspections for all Mudlogging, MWD, LWD, and Wireline Logging equipment when it arrives at the drilling location and following the requirements requested by the COMPANY.
- Ensure that all Mudlogging, MWD, LWD, and Wireline Logging personnel comply with the requirements requested by the COMPANY.
- Ensure that all main and spare Mudlogging, MWD, LWD, and Wireline Logging equipment can be used.
- Conduct surface function tests for all Mudlogging, MWD, LWD, and Wireline Logging equipment that will be used during drilling.
- Ensure calibration for all Mudlogging, MWD, LWD, and Wireline Logging equipment.
- Ensure that all equipment on the surface, including Mudlogging, MWD, LWD, and Wireline Logging, is installed properly following Rig installation safety standards.
- Ensure that all Mudlogging, MWD-LWD, and Wireline Logging data has been sent to the COMPANY representative according to the required requirements.
- Provide the best recommendations based on data during drilling to company representatives to suspend or continue drilling.
• Attend Drilling Work on Paper meetings
• Conduct Pre-Drill Geological Data Review.
• Conduct communication and reporting following the coordination line requested by the COMPANY.
• Report geological data every day in the form of an accurate report at the turn of the day at 24.00 WIB and in the morning at 06.00 WIB
• Attend the daily geology meeting at 6.30 WIB.
• Attend drilling meetings at the drilling location when workers change shifts at 06.00 WIB and 18.00 WIB.
• Attend the daily drilling meeting at 08.00 WIB.
• Supervise and organize each sample packaging and delivery from the Drilling Unit.
• Review field data results, final data, and final reports from Mudlogging, MWD-LWD, and Wireline Logging.
• Create a final geological report from the drilling well.
QUALIFICATIONS :
• Ten (10) years experience as a Well Site Geologist
• Experience in ten (10) offshore wells.
• Experience with Jack-up Rigs.
• Experience in the East Java Basin.
• Specific experience in fluvial-deltaic clastic reservoirs.
Position Title: Drilling Logistics Coordinator
Reports to: Drilling Manager
Status: Temporary / Contract (by Project)
Division / Department: Drilling / Engineering & Planning
JOB ROLES :
• To supervise movement of COMPANY’s and Service Company’s drilling equipment/ materials from mobilization till demobilization.
• To supervise supply vessel operation.
• To assist with crew boat and fixed wing operation management associated with the drilling operations
• To predict necessary equipment/materials for drilling activity.
• To consult Drilling Superintendent / Drilling Team Leader and relevant divisions in Jakarta Office, Drilling Inventory Officer at TWSB, Marine Dispatcher at TWSB, Fixed wing Ground Handling at POO, and Material Man on the Drilling Unit about logistics management including equipment/materials movement, vessel operation supply and fixed wing operation associated with drilling.
• To communicate and report all activities and work result to Drilling Superintendent/Drilling Team Leader and related divisions in the Jakarta Office.
• To check and verify service tickets from Service Companies.
• To track/monitor all related drilling rental/purchase equipment from mobilization until demobilization.
• To be responsible for fuel consumption, coordination of fuel purchase with SCM Dept. (Formalities Div.) and tracking/monitoring fuel consumption for RIG and Drilling Vessel
