Job Title: Mechanical Specialist

Purpose:

The Mechanical Specialist is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of all mechanical equipment on Offshore/FPSO. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling various systems such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and others rotating and static equipment. Also play as key role in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs and optimizing equipment performance.

The Mechanical Specialist is guaranteeing the prompt, safe and environment respecting execution of Maintenance activities will be conducted in safe manner with maximizing uptime and field production efficiency while minimizing the total maintenance cost (production downtime, spare parts, manpower, etc.) and meet daily production targets whilst complying with company guidelines and legal requirements to deliver highest value to stakeholders without compromise to Safe Operating Principals.

General Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Ensure all relevant Mechanical equipment is fully operational, in service, maintained safely, effectively and in accordance with procedures and equipment design codes and standards.

Ensure maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with all relevant procedures and legal requirements.

Ensure that all Safety Critical element PM’s are completed with plan.

Ensure all work is coordinated and aligned with production priorities and within the issued job plan and schedules, including reporting by the scheduler from the CMMS.

Liaise with Planner and Scheduler regarding the forward planning of spare parts deliverability and in determining min/max stock levels of spare parts and maintenance consumables on the facility.

Assist in preparation and surveillance of annual maintenance team budget.

Maintain complete and accurate equipment history records within the CMMS, Computerized Maintenance Management System, preferable SAP system.

Apply the lessons learned from design reviews, receiving inspections, and risk management findings and support team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Conduct and coordinate Mechanical maintenance contractors, inspections, calibrations, function tests and evaluate Mechanical equipment operation and condition to determine remedial action.

Prepare maintenance activities for flawless execution. Ensuring permits, PPE, tools, materials, equipment, work site preparation, and toolbox talks are in place and always completed.

Develop equipment Standard Maintenance/Repair Procedures and guidelines for all FPU/FPSO equipment.

Support safe start-up and shutdown of process facilities

Manage relevant reporting and administration work based on the needs of the respective organization (including data recording, correspondence, etc. – based on the function of this position).

Produce comprehensive and accurate shift and crew change handover notes.

Ensure that any changes to Mechanical controlled documentation, because of MOC (Management of Change) work, are captured and correctly recorded.

If required, attend Emergency work after normal working hours on a callout basis.

Participate in Root Cause Analysis for equipment failures.

Apply the lesson learned from design review, receiving inspections, and risk management finding and support team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Maintain complete and accurate equipment history records within the Computerized Maintenance Management System.

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience:

Familiar with Predictive Maintenance data acquisition, such as tribology.

Extensive experience handle Gas Turbine Generator, Gas Turbine Compressors, rotating equipment, and pedestal crane.

Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Purpose:

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring that operating parameters for all Mechanical equipment at the Company’s facilities are operating within design limits and that any abnormalities are communicated and assessed immediately.

- Familiar in international standard for metering system (AGA, ISO, API).

Job Title: Mooring Master

Purpose:

The Mooring Master is a highly specialized and senior deck officer responsible for the safe and efficient mooring, connecting, offloading, and unmooring of shuttle tankers (or offtake tankers) alongside the FPSO. The role demands exceptional ship handling knowledge, expert knowledge of dynamic positioning (DP) systems, and a comprehensive understanding of all associated marine operations, with strict adherence to Indonesian national regulations and international safety standards.

General Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Primary Operational Duties:

Offtake Tanker Operations: Act as the Person in Overall Advisory Control (POAC) for all offloading operations to shuttle tankers.

Pilotage & Ship Handling: Provide expert advice and direct the approach, positioning, and connection of the offtake tanker to the FPSO's stern or bow mooring system (STL - Single Point Mooring or Tandem Offloading).

Mooring & Connection: Supervise and ensure the safe connection of the offloading hawser or floating cargo hoses (for oil/condensate), including rigorous testing of the emergency release system (ERS).

Cargo Transfer: Supervise the entire cargo transfer process, including ballasting/deballasting coordination, constant monitoring of vessel positions, weather conditions, and hose integrity.

Unmooring: Direct the safe disconnection and unmooring of the tanker upon completion of offloading.

Emergency Response: Take immediate and decisive command in the event of an emergency during offloading operations (e.g., sudden bad weather, hose failure, tanker drive-off or drift-off). Execute emergency disconnect procedures (EDS) if necessary.

Planning & Communication:

Briefings: Conduct pre-operation briefings (Pre-Transfer Conference) with the FPSO crew and the shuttle tanker's crew, covering all procedures, emergency plans, and communication protocols.

Liaison: Serve as the primary marine liaison between the FPSO and the approaching/offtake tanker, as well as with FPSO Radio Operator and traffic control (VTS - Vessel Traffic Service) if applicable.

Weather Monitoring: Continuously monitor and interpret weather forecasts and sea state conditions. Advise the OIM and Marine & Logistic Superintendent on the operational window and initiate delays or shutdowns if limits are exceeded.

Compliance & Administration (Critical for Indonesia):

Indonesian Regulations: Ensure full compliance with all laws, decrees, and regulations issued by Indonesian authorities, including but not limited to:

DIRJEN HUBLA (Directorate General of Sea Transportation): All maritime and shipping regulations.

SKK Migas (Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities): Specific requirements for oil and gas operations.

Indonesian Port Authority & Harbourmaster: Requirements for the specific offshore field location.

Documentation: Ensure all marine operations logs, offloading records, tanker paperwork (including validity of certifications and insurance), and pre-/post-operation checklists are accurately completed and filed.

Permits & Clearances: Work with the company's marine department to ensure the offtake tanker has all necessary clearances and permits to operate in Indonesian waters.

Safety & Maintenance:

Safety Leadership: Champion safety on deck during all offloading operations. Enforce the Permit to Work (PTW) system, isolation procedures, and stop-work authority.

System Checks: Oversee regular inspection and testing of all offloading equipment, including mooring hawsers, quick release hooks, hoses, and ESD/ERS systems.

Drills: Participate in and lead relevant emergency drills (e.g., oil spill response, emergency disconnect, man overboard).

Qualifications & Experience:

Professional Qualification:

- Minimum 2 years experience of holding Maritime Pilot Class 1 for piloting unlimited vessel size

- Minimum 2 years experience as Mooring Master.

- Successful completion of mooring/un-mooring operations proved by field competency assessment conducted by two qualified Mooring Master.

- A minimum of 5-10 years of sea-going experience as a Master on large crude oil tankers (VLCC/ULCC) or LNG carriers is highly desireable.

- Extensive and proven experience as a Mooring Master on an FPSO or an Aframax/Larger tanker is essential. Experience specifically in Southeast Asian waters is a significant advantage.

- Demonstrable experience in tandem offloading operations in dynamic positioning (DP) mode.

- Proven track record of handling emergency situations.

Mandatory Certifications (as per STCW & Indonesian Law):

Valid STCW Certificates: Including Advanced Firefighting, Proficiency in Survival Craft, Medical First Aid, etc.

DP Operator Certificate (Unlimited):  is highly desireable.

Tanker Endorsements: Valid STCW certificates for Oil Tanker.

Seafarer's Medical Certificate (valid).

Purpose:

The Operation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of all facility equipment. The Operation Specialist ensures the prompt, safe, and environmentally responsible execution of all operational activities. The position is accountable for maintaining safe operations, maximizing equipment uptime and field production efficiency, and minimizing total operating costs—including LPO, production downtime, spare parts usage, and overall resource management.

The role is expected to meet or exceed daily production targets while ensuring full compliance with company guidelines, regulatory requirements, and Safe Operating Principles, ultimately delivering maximum value to stakeholders without compromise.

General Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

- Reporting to the Operation & Maintenance Superintendent (O&M Supt), the Operation Specialist is responsible for coordinating process support to optimize the operation of offshore facilities. All activities must be conducted safely, maximizing field production efficiency while minimizing total operating costs—including LPO, production downtime, spare parts usage, and overall resource management. The role is expected to meet or exceed daily production targets while ensuring full compliance with company guidelines and legal requirements.

- To managing respective people and organization with relevant administration and report, also managing HSE function in the respective department.

- Responsible for the coordination of the development project activities relevant to the offshore equipment with focus on Pre-Operations Works and establish Operations requirements during detail engineering , construction, commissioning , start up phases of new oil/gas production facilities, ensuring that commissioning phase and startup operations are conducted in safe, effective and efficiently manner with meeting the company target and to the satisfaction of all parties.  

- To support all operation readiness activities and assurance review from initial concept through to project sanction, and possibly through project execution, ensuring that the design meets project objectives for cost, schedule, safety and environmental impact. Assure all operation aspects and risk opportunities to optimize the construction activities in the field, have been address and mitigate the risk.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry in offshore facilities 

Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore commissioning and startup of oil/ gas field development projects 

Previous Upstream Engineering Floating Production Unit, RSI –SPS, FPU commissioning experience would be advantage 

Experienced in operation for offshore gas facilities is beneficially

Job Title: Process Lead Operator

Purpose:

The process lead operator is to lead the controlling and monitoring platform production operations at Offshore facilities. The process lead operator is responsible to ensure the activities conducted in safety manner and maximizing uptime and field production efficiency while minimizing the total maintenance cost (production downtime, spare parts, manpower, etc.) and meet daily production targets whilst complying with company guidelines and legal requirements to deliver highest value to stakeholders without compromising the Safe Operating Principals.

To manage respective people, vendor and organization with relevant administration and report, also managing HSE function in the respective department.

Process lead operator will implement the Asset and Operating Integrity policy and procedure in production operations, also managing contractors who work in FPU in safe and clean environment, and compliance to regulations.

To support the development project activities relevant to the FPU West Seno, TLP-A and KNH Project – Production aspects offshore with focus on, start up and shutdown gas and oil/condensate production facilities, ensuring that commissioning and start-up operations of facilities are conducted in safe, effective, and efficiently manner while meeting the company target and the satisfaction of all parties.

Job Title: Senior Process Operator

Purpose:

The Senior Process Operator is responsible for monitoring plant overall operations of all Company’s Offshore facilities. Senior Process Operator activities will be conducted in safety manner with maximizing uptime and field production efficiency while minimizing the total maintenance cost (production downtime, spare parts, manpower, etc.) through continuous and intensive engagement with Maintenance team. The objective is to meet or exceed daily production targets whilst complying with the Company guidelines and legal requirements to deliver highest value to stakeholders without compromising the Safe Operating Principals.

Managing with relevant administration and reporting. Most importantly able to manage emergency response (ER) role in the respective department and build effective communication with all Offshore Emergency Response Team members.

Senior Process Operator will implement the Asset and Operating Integrity policy and procedure in production operations, also managing contractors who work in FPU in safe and clean environment, and compliance to regulations.

To support the development project activities relevant to the Company’s project – Production aspects both onshore and offshore with focus on construction, commissioning, and logistic issues of new condensate/gas production facilities, ensuring that pre-commissioning, commissioning phase and start-up operations of facilities are conducted in safe, effective, and efficiently manner while meeting the Company target and the satisfaction of all parties.

To coordinate and support maintenance team and to ensure all front-line maintenance activity is performed quickly, safely, and sustainably.

Job Title: Utility Control Room Operator

Purpose:

The Utility Control Room Operator is to operate and maintain processing gas & condensate in the Offshore/FPSO facilities complex in Control Room through established procedures to produce gas & condensate from Offshore/FPSO facilities and deliver to East Kalimantan facilities in safe operation, efficiently and within environment and contractual limits.

Utility Control Room Operator also operate, and handling emergency Shut down system, surveillances equipment, utility systems and equipment in safe operations. Utility Control Room Operator also must capture all alarm system include mitigation to be done and manage coordination with field operator & maintenance team to maintain safety, production quality and plant availability.

Utility Control Room Operator will communicate with Offshore/FPSO Utility Control Room Operators & East Kalimantan parties including but not limited to the Badak Control Room, in any changes of production operation parameter and condition in FPU, particularly during emergency situation until the production re-start in safely & timely manner. In addition, CRO will also liaise with Field Operator, Maintenance Team, Site Support team including but not limited to the Security, Housekeepers, Grass cutter, Project Representatives for any operational support required.

Utility Control Room Operator will work closely with Field Operator and ensures that hydrocarbon production moves continuously from the inlet FPU to the tie-in export facilities within operational context and part of all Front-Line Operations Production & Maintenance.

General Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Ensure the efficiency of production facilities.

Manage the startup and shutdown of process facilities to ensure safe operation and compliance with procedures to meet product requirements.

Mentor field operators on DCS operations to facilitate knowledge transfer.

Record bypass and override process parameters as per BIFO procedures.

Understand multi-disciplinary risk assessments and execute mitigation plans for bypassed or overridden signals; ensure the Central Control Room (CCR) is aware of required emergency actions.

Minimize production losses by ensuring safe procedures and execution.

Perform routine checks of all equipment and units to ensure they function correctly in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
