HSE Manager (MSG-Sumbawa)

Role & Responsibility :

• Manage and coordinate subordinate and HSESS team: Coordinator, Supervisor, Officer, etc.

• Coordination and communication with: Site Representative (PJO-Operational Manager), the government, sub-holding, clients (AMNT, AMIN), partners (outbound contractor of PT AMNT/AMIN), and other stakeholders related to the project area and related to project activities.

• Support PJO-Project Operational Manager

• Ensure that the HSESS compliance and requirements are established, implemented, maintained, and monitored across the Project site activities and project lifetime.

• Conduct assessment and identification of HSESS aspects in accordance with MPI code, and standard, International Standard, Client Code regulation, and Procedure.

• Implement Occupational Health objectives, targets and environmental management program

• Implement Safety objectives, targets and Safety management program and audit to meet Company and sub-holding objective

• Implement Environmental objectives, targets and environmental management program and audit to meet Company and sub-holding objective

• Implement Social objectives, targets and Social management program and audit to meet Company and sub-holding objective

• Implement Security objectives, targets and Security management program and audit to meet Company and sub-holding objectives.

• Responsible for HSESS budget and control

• Responsible to evaluate health and safety practices and procedures for risk assessment and following legal guidelines

• Responsible to implement accident prevention training, health and safety training, and Security training

• Responsible to ensure the usage of proper equipment for unsafe workplace conditions

• Responsible to monitor employee conformity to safety laws and policies

• Responsible of Investigate accidents and incidents.

• Responsible to find the cause and take preventive measures for further incidents

• Responsible to handle worker's compensation claims in the event of a workplace accident

• Responsible to provide/suggest solutions, improvements and prevention steps for safety issues

• Responsible to control HSESS budget for proper use in an effective and efficient manner

• Responsible to encourage implementation of Zero accidents; Zero Pollution, Zero Crime, Zero Security infringement

• Responsible to ensure Contractor is conducting Tool Box meetings.

• Responsible to implement the Work Permit System.

• Responsible to implement security control during construction and Phase-1 operation.

• Responsible to maintain good relations with Government, Local Community, NGOs Qualifications :

• Bachelor degree in Occupational Health or Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering.

• Having Certification in risk management and health/safety management

• HSESS field with: 10 years in Industry, or 5 Year in Oil and Gas, and 5 years as HSESS Manager

• Having experience on Held managerial level.

• Thorough knowledge of health and safety laws and guidelines

• Extensive attention to detail to distinguish safety hazards

• Ability to provide detailed reports and develop safety procedures

• Good understanding of data analysis and risk assessment

• Good organizational, leadership and motivational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to recognize when safety conditions need improvement

• Ability to prioritize tasks, especially when handling an accident or incident
